Curtis McPeake: The View from McPeake~ Bluegrass Instrumentals

Producer's note

The music for this entire CD was recorded on Tuesday, February 15, 2000, between 10:30 AM and 9 PM. Curtis felt strongly that this CD should capture a live performance, so that's how we set it up. The players were all in the same room so they could see and hear each other as they played, taking their signals from Curtis and keeping the music flowing. It was a terrific jam session! This project presents the musical point of view of a bluegrass master: The View from McPeake. Hope you enjoy it! — Andy May
